Two summers ago, my husband and I found ourselves in a predicament that could have easily turned out to be a disaster. Some how we completely forgot about my cousins wedding until about a week before it was set to take place. When we realized our mistake, we did not know what to do. Getting out of work was surprisingly easy, but making plans seemed to be a much more daunting task. Had it not been for last minute travel deals, I really do not feel that we would have made it. I was very lucky in that I have had previous experience planning last minute work trips, and I knew about finding last minute travel deals online. I got to work right away and by the end of the day, I had planned our trip.

Not only were we able to plan a trip, but I could not believe that we actually saved more money than we would have if we had booked on time. Thanks to last minute travel deals online, we did not have to face the ridicule of missing such an important event. I can not imagine what my cousin would have felt like if we did not show up. In the future we will be sure to be more attentive to the important events in our family, but at least if we ever find ourselves in a pickle again, we will know what to do.
