Last summer my family took a trip driving across the country. We had a great time and we found ourselves looking forward to getting to our hotel at the end of the long stretches of highway. Before this trip, we had never stayed in a Travel Lodge hotel before, but because there are so many in the United states, we decided it would be better to stay in them strictly.

Our kids loved seeing the different locations and surroundings at each spot and we felt very secure with our children's safety. There were so many activities for us to do as a family in the general vicinity of each Travel Lodge that we stayed in. The beds and rooms were comfortable and we never experienced any trouble with the staff. I was so relieved when each Travel Lodge we stayed in was very clean and well stocked.

To me the most important aspect of staying in the Travel Lodge hotels was that the staff was so friendly and helpful to all of us. Waking up and going into the lobby was always a nice experience. The staff never missed an opportunity to smile at us and ask us how we were doing. This was by far the most lovely vacation we have ever taken. I hope that some time soon, we will  have another reason to stay with Travel Lodge.
