I have friends who live in the southwest now, but came from the Chicago area. They tell me and I have heard that Chicago is a great city to visit and when I get a chance I should check it out. The only times I have been in Chicago is in the O’Hare Airport. I would love to experience the Windy City and with Chicago hotel deals and other travel discounts, this would be a great time. Out of curiosity, I went online to see what I could find. There are not only Chicago hotel deals, but entertainment and food deals as well. Many hotels are offering much reduced rates plus many incentives. There are complimentary breakfasts, even gift cards offered for shopping. I love architecture, so to see all the historic districts and landmarks would be exciting for me. The area has wonderful shops and restraunts as well as being a beautiful city. Chicago is definitely on my travel list. I know in 2010 last minute travel deals to Chicago will still be around. Now that Oprah is leaving her show in two years, that is another stop I will have to make on my Chicago itinerary.
