las vegas vacationThe fall is probably the best time of year to take a Las Vegas vacation. The weather starts to cool down, and the evenings have a characteristic chill in the air that you can only find in deserts. When the weather is dry and cooling, the temperature takes on a tiny nip, while still being warm enough to be in shirtsleeves and shorts. By early morning, the temperatures will be a bit chilly, but certainly comfortable. Another advantage to taking a Las Vegas vacation in the fall is that the crowds are slightly smaller than in the winter or spring. The high season for Las Vegas travel is in the winter and early spring, when people want to get out of the cold, and into warmer weather. One of the busiest times for a Las Vegas vacation is spring break, and unless you are under 30, chances are you won't appreciate the throngs of college students and 20 somethings that crowd the streets and casinos. Driving is a nightmare, too, during spring break, along the strip and downtown. Summer in Las Vegas is the low season for travel, because it is incredibly hot, but virtually everything but the outdoors is air conditioned. If you want a Las Vegas vacation minus the crowds, choose the summer time.
