Why does it always seem that the best prices are found on last minute travel deals? I have a couple time shares that I bought at a school auction. The biggest pain is trying to exchange them for anything descent. There are no cheep hotels in New York so when I was planning a trip there I decided to look into exchanging one of the time shares. I looked online and the time share had what seemed to be an unlimited number of great looking places to trade for, not only in New York, but great Chicago hotel deals, Las Vegas hotel deals and more. So far so good and I figured being that the trip was almost a year away I was in like Flynn. Wrong! I could not find a single exchange and when I called the agent about it she told me that most people don’t deposit there weeks that early so I would probably be better off waiting and trying to exchange for last minute travel deals. Go figure!
